Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Ortho unit requiring 1+ years of experience and current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Med/Ortho unit setting (not Step-Down)
• 3x12hr Night shifts, 1900-0730
• Weekend shifts required
• May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license (Single State or CO/Compact) required
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required and must not expire prior to start
• TNCC certification preferred
• 1+ years of RN experience in the specialty required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promote facility mission, vision, and values through service behavior standards
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
