Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 3+ years acute hospital experience and ARDMS certification in AB, OB, and RVT.
Details
- Diagnostic Imaging department performing general, abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound studies
- Variable shift schedule with 40-hour work weeks and on-call as needed
- Floating to other units/departments as required
- Uses Canon i700 ultrasound equipment, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as a full-time sonographer in an acute hospital setting
- At least one prior travel contract or equivalent experience preferred
- ARDMS certification in Abdomen (AB), OB, and Vascular Technology (RVT)
- Active BLS certification through AHA
- State license required if applicable, obtained upon acceptance
- Competency in abdominal, GYN, OB, neonatal, superficial structure, and vascular ultrasound procedures
- Experience with aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative procedures
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams across abdominal, GYN, OB, neonatal, superficial structure, and vascular specialties
- Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start, requiring early arrival in the area
- No RTO granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract
- Personal scrubs and professional healthcare attire required
