Description
American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years of experience for an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital in Dallas, TX.
Details
- 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting
- Treats patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- 12-week assignment with a 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM shift schedule
- Weekend coverage available on request
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist required
- AHA certifications required
- Active license required if applicable
- Active Nursys/licensure status required at time of consideration
- Social security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Facility is CARF-accredited for its Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and Stroke Specialty Program
- Provides customized, intensive rehabilitation tailored to individual patient needs
- Candidates must not reside within 60 miles of the facility
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
