Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years of experience for an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting.

Details

  • Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 50 beds
  • Treats patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
  • 12-week assignment
  • Day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Weekend coverage on request

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • AHA certifications required
  • License required if applicable
  • Active state licensure verified through Nursys at time of consideration

  • Facility is accredited by The Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality and CARF-accredited for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke Specialty Programs
  • Provides comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs
  • Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
