Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with a TX or compact license, prior travel experience, and at least 2 years of OR experience for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Operating Room unit setting
• Day shift schedule (3x12 Hours, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• On-call and holiday coverage required
• Wide range of surgical specialties including vascular, gynecology, orthopedic, neurology, general surgery, robotics, ENT, thoracic, urology, and podiatry procedures
• Uses Epic charting system
• Scrubs provided

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• 2 years of OR experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• CNOR certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• State-issued ID required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assist with a broad range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties including vascular, orthopedic, neurology, general, urology, robotics, and ENT surgery
• Local candidates within 90 miles are accepted at a lower rate
• RTO requests limited to 5 non-consecutive days, with only one holiday RTO request permitted during the November-January holiday season
• All RTO must be approved by management prior to contract signing
