Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a community hospital setting, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT MR/R certification.

Details

• Community hospital setting within the MRI department
• Day shift, 3x12 hours, Friday-Sunday from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM
• No call requirements
• May float within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Uses GE and Philips MRI equipment along with PACS system
• Epic charting system preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• ARRT MR, ARRT R, and BLS certification required
• Community hospital experience required
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Skilled in abdomen and pelvis imaging, including female and male pelvis studies
• Experience with head/neck, brain, chest, spine (cervical and thoracic), and musculoskeletal imaging (hip/bony pelvis, knee, shoulder)
• Proficient in special imaging procedures including gradient echo imaging, image post-processing, MIP, MRP, perfusion, spin echo images, and T1/T2 weighted images
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, and RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• No RTO can be requested during orientation week
• Holiday coverage required if one or two major holidays fall during the assignment, with limited holiday RTO consideration if three major holidays occur
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Returning employees must be away from all facilities within the health system for one full year before applying as a traveler
