Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a community hospital setting, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT MR/R certification.
Details
- Community hospital setting within the MRI department
- Day shift, 3x12 hours, Friday-Sunday from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM
- No call requirements
- May float within facility and scope of practice as needed
- Uses GE and Philips MRI equipment along with PACS system
- Epic charting system preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
- ARRT MR, ARRT R, and BLS certification required
- Community hospital experience required
- Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
- Skilled in abdomen and pelvis imaging, including female and male pelvis studies
- Experience with head/neck, brain, chest, spine (cervical and thoracic), and musculoskeletal imaging (hip/bony pelvis, knee, shoulder)
- Proficient in special imaging procedures including gradient echo imaging, image post-processing, MIP, MRP, perfusion, spin echo images, and T1/T2 weighted images
- Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, and RTO must be finalized at time of submission
- No RTO can be requested during orientation week
- Holiday coverage required if one or two major holidays fall during the assignment, with limited holiday RTO consideration if three major holidays occur
- Full compliance required to start on time
- Returning employees must be away from all facilities within the health system for one full year before applying as a traveler
