Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Oncology RN for a day shift position requiring TN or compact RN licensure and at least 2 years of Med/Surg/Tele experience.
Details
- Medical Surgical Oncology unit
- Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM-7:00 PM)
- 36/36, 36/48, or 48/48 scheduling options available
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Floating to other units as needed
- Travelers do not administer chemotherapy
Requirements
- Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Med/Surg/Tele experience required
- Previous Charge RN experience preferred
Additional Information
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility for consideration
- First-time travelers accepted
- General orientation begins on Sundays with online coursework, followed by 16 hours of nonbillable orientation
- Contract RN team members participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside regular clinical duties
