Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift contract requiring travel experience and comfort working with the prison population.
Details
- ICU unit setting
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
- Locals accepted at the same pay rate
Requirements
- Active TN or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- CPI certification required (MAB accepted in lieu of CPI)
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Must be comfortable providing care to the prison population
- RTO not approved for Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day for contracts beginning in September
- Contract nurses expected to work 3 of the 6 listed holidays based on assigned holiday group
- Schedule swaps with peers may be arranged to accommodate personal preferences
