Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to perform a full range of diagnostic radiography exams in a hospital imaging department.
Details
- Diagnostic imaging department performing full-scope diagnostic radiography
- M-T shift schedule, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- 13-week assignment
- Up to 24 hours of call-off may be available to the facility at no cost during the assignment
Requirements
- Active Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification, RT(R)
- Registered ARRT(R) required
- CPR certification (BLS/HCP level) required within three months of hire
- License required if applicable
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Frequent/prolonged standing and walking required
- Must be able to push, pull, position, and transfer patients and heavy equipment
- Manual dexterity and mobility required
Additional Information
- Perform radiological exams using proper technical factors, positioning techniques, and sterile practices
- Transport, transfer, and position patients safely while monitoring their condition
- Perform QA on films and equipment, and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed
- Review and manage daily exam schedules, including corrections, additions, and cancellations
- Complete exam documentation, archiving, and teleradiology submissions
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow infection control and safety protocols
- Reports to the Imaging Director and collaborates closely with the imaging team and other departments
- Maintain professional growth through ongoing education and training
