Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN proficient in Labor & Delivery to manage both med/surg and OB patients through delivery and postpartum care on night shift.

Details

• Med/Surg unit with additional coverage for L&D patients as needed
• Med/Surg patient ratio of 1:4 and L&D ratio of 1:1
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00, every other weekend
• No scheduled on-call hours, unless on low census status and asked to be on-call for an OB patient
• May float to different units as a traveler

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and NRP
• One reference required
• Proficiency in Labor & Delivery patient management required

Additional Information

• Manage med/surg patients while remaining available to be pulled for OB patients presenting for delivery and postpartum care
• Locals accepted at the same rate
• Travel pairs accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered
