Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift position at a Level III Trauma facility, requiring circulating C-section experience and Advanced NRP certification.

Details

  • 14-bed Labor and Delivery unit handling approximately 175 cases per month
  • Level III Trauma designation
  • 1:2 patient ratio
  • Cares for labor, antepartum, and recovery couplet patients
  • Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 1845-0715
  • Weekend and holiday rotation required
  • Voluntary on-call available
  • Potential floating to Mother/Baby unit or as a sitter task RN to any unit

Requirements

  • Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, Advanced NRP, and Fetal Monitoring
  • Minimum 2 years of current Labor and Delivery experience required
  • Must be able to circulate C-Sections
  • Valid, non-expired driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify for travel positioning
  • Provide comprehensive care across labor, antepartum, and recovery couplet stages
