Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an ICU position requiring 1-2 years of Medical ICU experience and current ACLS/BLS certification.

Details

• Medical/Surgical ICU with minimal cardiac patient population
• 14-bed unit with 1:2 patient ratios and a charge nurse free of patient assignments
• Occasional use of IABP equipment
• Uses Paragon EHR system
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1-2 years of ICU experience required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Medical ICU experience preferred

Additional Information

• Care for patients with sepsis, respiratory illness, and some cardiac and trauma diagnoses
• Team-oriented unit culture that holds each other accountable to best practices
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
