Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and prior specialty experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:00

Requirements

• Active Ohio (permanent) or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all AHA certifications must be active, not pending)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applying specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Co-worker references will not be accepted
• Candidates with any open background check case will not be accepted
• Candidates with any professional license hits will not be accepted
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts to achieve a passing score
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Travelers who remain on continuous contract for at least 1 year or return in a subsequent calendar year may be required to complete annual hands-on competency training
• Holiday coverage required for every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location
• Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility screening requirements, though this exemption is temporary
• Travelers may only be considered for one position at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System
