Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2 years of L&D experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Labor and Delivery/Birth Center unit, including Level I Nursery and Mother/Baby areas
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 19:00-07:30, various days of the week
• Unit has 15 total staffed beds
• Uses EPIC charting system
• Weekend shifts required per unit needs
• On-call requirement of 1 day every 6 weeks
• Open to floating across the North region within the Women & Infant service line
• Navy blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Intermediate
• C-EFM certification preferred

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care within the Labor and Delivery, Level I Nursery, and Mother/Baby units
• Completion of all facility-specific modules required within the first week of assignment
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods where RTO is not permitted
• No blocked scheduling requests allowed
• First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
• Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or its affiliates must disclose prior employment details
• Candidates who applied to UCHealth's internal travel or perm staff positions within the last two years will not be considered
• Returning travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are accepted
