Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2 years of experience, a CO or compact RN license, and AWHONN Intermediate certification.
Details
- Work in a Labor and Delivery/Birth Center unit with 15 staffed beds
- Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts
- Weekend shifts required per unit needs
- On-call requirement of 1 day every 6 weeks
- Open to floating across the North region within the Women & Infant service line
- Uses EPIC charting system
- Scrubs provided
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Intermediate
- C-EFM certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Skills in Labor & Delivery, Level I Nursery, and Mother/Baby settings
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care within a Labor and Delivery/Birth Center setting
- Facility-specific modules must be completed within the first week of assignment, averaging 4 hours
- First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate if residing within 75 miles of facility
- Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during high-census times
- Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or affiliates must disclose prior employment for eligibility review
- Return travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking
