Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Step Down RN for a night shift assignment requiring PCU/telemetry experience and BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
Details
- Step Down/PCU unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 19:00-07:00
- Floats to Intermediate and MedSurg units, with travelers floating first as needed
Requirements
- Active RN license (VA or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 1 year experience in the specialty unit, with 2-3 years overall experience preferred
- Candidates with pending certifications will be considered
Additional Information
- Must reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Biweekly orientation held on Mondays
- Nicotine-free campus
- Scrubs may be any color with a professional appearance; child-friendly print tops and scrub/lab coats are permitted
