Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring 2 years of recent acute care experience and prior travel assignment history.
Details
- Community hospital and regional referral center, Joint Commission accredited with 171 beds
- Level III Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center
- Progressive Care Stepdown/Transitional unit with 30 beds
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3
- Common diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, CABG, acute respiratory failure, and atrial fibrillation with RVR
- Uses Medhost EHR
- Night shift schedule, 3x12s from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Float requirements include Medical Surgical and Telemetry, as well as ED holds for patients awaiting admission
- On-call required with a 30-minute response time when called in
Requirements
- Active AZ or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate, otherwise local rate applies
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
- Weekly orientation offered
- Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, near outdoor recreation, mountain ranges, and lake scenery
