Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring prior ICU experience and travel nursing experience.

Details

• Progressive Care Stepdown/Transitional unit within a 171-bed community hospital and regional referral center
• Level III Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center
• 30-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3
• Adult and geriatric patient population including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, CABG, acute respiratory failure, and A-fib with RVR
• Uses Medhost EHR
• Night shift schedule, 3x12s from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Float requirements to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including ED holds pending admission
• On-call requirements with a 30-minute response time

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• 2 years of recent acute care experience required
• Prior ICU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required

• Weekly orientation provided
• Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, known for outdoor recreation, mountain ranges, and lake scenery
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
