Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care Stepdown position requiring 2 years of recent acute and prior travel experience.
Details
- Progressive Care Stepdown Transitional unit within a Level III Trauma, Certified Chest Pain Center community hospital and regional referral center
- 30-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
- Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3
- Typical patient conditions include STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, CABG pod 2, acute respiratory failure, atrial fibrillation with RVR, ALIF, and EXLIF
- Uses Medhost EHR system
- 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Float requirements include Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including ED holds pending admission
- On-call requirements with a 30-minute reporting window when called in
- Weekly orientation provided
Requirements
- Active AZ or compact RN license required
- 2 years of recent acute care experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Current AHA certifications required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
- Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
- No block scheduling requests permitted, though 48-hour schedules may be considered without guarantee
