Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care Stepdown position requiring 2 years of recent acute and prior travel experience.

Details

• Progressive Care Stepdown Transitional unit within a Level III Trauma, Certified Chest Pain Center community hospital and regional referral center
• 30-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3
• Typical patient conditions include STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, CABG pod 2, acute respiratory failure, atrial fibrillation with RVR, ALIF, and EXLIF
• Uses Medhost EHR system
• 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Float requirements include Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including ED holds pending admission
• On-call requirements with a 30-minute reporting window when called in
• Weekly orientation provided

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• 2 years of recent acute care experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA certifications required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
• No block scheduling requests permitted, though 48-hour schedules may be considered without guarantee
