Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR Circulator RN requiring 2+ years of experience and proficiency across multiple surgical specialties including robotics.

Details

• Operating Room department within a 99-bed hospital with 6 operating rooms
• Approximately 250 procedures performed per month
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts
• Call required at least one weekday per week plus weekend rotation
• On-call hours are 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM on weekdays and 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday
• Adult and pediatric patient population

Requirements

• Active RN license (NM or Compact) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience required
• Experience required across general, ortho, OBGYN, podiatry, plastics, endo, and trauma surgical specialties
• DaVinci robotics experience required
• Valid driver's license and US SSN required for consideration
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Function as a circulating RN, applying critical thinking and leadership in planning and delivering patient care in the OR
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other surgical team members
• Responsibilities include ensuring supply readiness, maintaining case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing in and assisting during surgical cases, and supervising care delivery personnel
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for travel rate
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
