Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient setting requiring ARRT(M), ARRT(R), BLS, and 1+ years of experience.
Details
- Outpatient mammography setting in a short term acute care teaching hospital
- Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- No weekends, on-call, or floating between units required
- No block schedules required
- Uses Epic charting system
- Procedures include 3-D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, digital mammography, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy
- Uses Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment
- Uses PACS for imaging
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- ARRT(M) and ARRT(R) certifications required
- BLS certification required
- Oregon license required if applicable
- Epic charting experience required
- Prior travel experience required
- Experience with fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy preferred
- Experience with Hologic Affirm BX equipment preferred
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic and screening mammography procedures including 3-D and digital mammography
- Scrubs provided for OR/Cath Lab; any color accepted elsewhere
- No parking fees at this facility
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process; post-offer requests may not be accommodated
- May be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history at Providence facilities, including permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem roles
- Former Providence permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
