Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with cardiac intervention experience and prior travel assignment history for a 10-week contract.

Details

• ICU setting with day shift schedule (2x12 hours, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM)
• Cardiac patient population including post cath intervention, balloon pump, and Impella cases
• Floating required across all three campuses (Ontario, Bucyrus, Galion) as needed
• Call required with a 1-hour arrival expectation once called in
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• Part-time need
• Epic charting system preferred

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years recent/continuous ICU experience required
• Cardiac experience required, including post cath intervention, balloon pump, and Impella
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, arterial and central line care
• Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilator care, and suctioning (ETT, NT)
• Proficient in isolation precautions and PPE use

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to cardiac ICU patients, including monitoring, medication titration, and post-intervention care
• No time off approved during major holidays or holiday weeks
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
