Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 12-hour day shift contract requiring GA RRT licensure and 2+ years of specialty experience.
Details
- Respiratory Care/Diagnostic Services unit position
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Schedule varies 7a-7:30p with every other weekend required
- 36 guaranteed hours weekly on a deferred schedule
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience within specialty
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- GA RRT license required if applicable
- RRT certification (NBRC) required
- 2 professional references required
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
- RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer acceptance and cannot be requested after
