Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Operating Room Circulator with strong ophthalmology, ortho/MAKO, and neuro spine experience required.

Details

• Operating Room setting functioning as a Circulator
• Day shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts (7:00-19:00) Monday through Friday with varying scheduled days off
• Call requirement of 4-6 days within a 6-week schedule
• Weekend call (Saturday and Sunday, 24 hours each) approximately every 6-8 weeks
• Subject to holiday call during the assignment
• No floating required outside of scope

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required; pending license accepted if obtained prior to start
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Strong ophthalmology experience required
• Ortho and MAKO experience required
• Neuro spine experience required
• Recent EPIC experience preferred but not required

Additional Information

• Circulate cases within the Operating Room
• Must pass Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test and Moderate Sedation Test on the first day of orientation with only one attempt allowed
• Attendance policy in place; missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review for cancellation
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
• All RTO must be submitted with the initial submission; requests made afterward will not be considered
• Previous permanent staff at this health system are not eligible to return as travelers
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
