Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a NICU position requiring Level IV NICU experience and RRT certification at a children's hospital.

Details

• Work in the Level IV NICU at a children's hospital
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Can offer 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required, including 2 of the 3 winter holidays
• Unit uses a self-scheduling model, though preferred schedules cannot be guaranteed
• Epic EMR experience needed for SRO Float Pool and Inpatient Units

Requirements

• Level IV NICU experience required
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred
• RRT certification required (must be in-hand, pending not accepted)
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• ACCS certification preferred
• Valid state license required; pending VA license accepted if candidate holds an active license in another state and can obtain a VA temporary license before start
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care services to neonatal patients in a Level IV NICU setting
• Must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler at this facility
• No radius rule for this position
