Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a NICU position at a children's hospital requiring Level IV NICU experience and RRT certification.

Details

• Work in the NICU at a children's hospital
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Can offer 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required, including 2 of 3 winter holidays
• Unit uses a self-scheduling model, though desired schedules are not guaranteed
• May float within clinical experience areas
• Epic experience needed for SRO Float Pool and Inpatient Units

Requirements

• Level IV NICU experience required
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred
• RRT certification, BLS, and NRP required
• ACCS certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• VA license may be pending at submission but must be obtained before start, and candidate must hold an active license in another state
• RRT certification must be in-hand, not pending

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care services within a Level IV NICU at a children's hospital
• 12 months must pass before a candidate may return as a traveler at this facility
• No radius rule for this position
