Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment on a locked incarcerated unit, requiring TN or compact RN license and 1 year of relevant experience.
Details
- Med/Surg Tele unit located within a locked incarcerated hospital unit
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:00
- Float required to other MS/Tele units, including forensics, inpatient units, and potentially ICU
Requirements
- Active TN or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- CPI certification required (MAB accepted in lieu of CPI)
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Tele nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Must be comfortable working with an incarcerated patient population
- First-time travelers welcome to apply
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Holiday rotation required for contracts starting in September, covering 3 of 6 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) based on assigned holiday group
- RTO not approved for the above designated holidays for contracts starting in September
- Contracts starting in September should extend into the new year to ensure holiday coverage
