Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Oncology/Cellular Therapy position requiring 2+ years of oncology and stem cell experience with Chemo (ONS/ONCC) certification.
Details
- Oncology unit specializing in cellular therapy treatments
- Night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00-07:30)
- Patient ratio of 1:3-4
- Every 3rd weekend required
- Holiday cluster coverage required (2 major and minor holidays)
- May float to oncology or med/surg units
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Experience in stem cell, oncology, and critical care preferred
- Oncology certification required for consideration at higher rate
Additional Information
- Provide cellular therapy treatments including autologous transplant, allogeneic transplant, CAR-T, and TILS
- Administer IV chemotherapy prior to cellular therapy treatments
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Must reside at least 50 miles away from all facilities within the health system
