Description
American Traveler is hiring a Critical Care Float RN for a 16-week night shift assignment requiring recent ICU/ED experience and a CT or compact RN license.
Details
- Critical Care RN Float Pool position floating between ICU, Intermediate Unit, and Medical-Surgical units as needed
- Patient ratios vary by unit and can be discussed further during interview, generally 5 to 1
- 12-hour night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Rotating weekends and holidays required
- 36 hours per week over a 16-week assignment
Requirements
- Active RN license (CT or Compact) required
- Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ED and/or ICU nursing experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Flu and COVID vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required
Additional Information
- Float role supporting multiple critical care and medical-surgical units based on facility needs
- Participates in mandatory overtime rotation as part of the unit's coverage pool during the assignment
- Weekly orientation offered every Monday
- Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted
- Radius-based pay rate structure applies for candidates outside the local area
