Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 3+ years of experience for an acute care setting requiring ARDMS certification.
Details
- Acute care setting within the Ultrasound department
- Performs OB, abdominal, general, prostate biopsy, breast, and renal imaging studies
- Uses Philips and GE ultrasound equipment
- Uses EPIC EMR system
- 8-hour day shifts with varied start times between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM
- Coverage includes holidays, weekends, and on-call rotation
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sonographer
- ARDMS certification and BLS required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Provides high quality imaging studies for radiologist interpretation to aid in patient diagnosis
- Works under direct supervision of the Medical Director and Director of Radiology
- Ensures proper patient care while obtaining requested examinations
