Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / IR Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring 2+ years of experience across interventional cardiology, neurology, radiology, and electrophysiology.

Details

• Level 1 Trauma Center CVI department covering Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Neurology, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology
• Day shift schedule with on-call rotation covering weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience required
• Graduate of accredited radiology program
• ARRT(R) required, plus ARRT(VI) or ARRT(CI)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• State radiography license required if applicable, must be currently active
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred

Additional Information

• Will be trained and cross-utilized across Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Neurology, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology procedures
• Responsibilities include patient prep, sterile technique, contrast administration, radiation safety monitoring, image acquisition, and post-procedural care
• Provides practical instruction for students and partners
• Assists with vascular access, diagnostic and interventional procedures, and vascular closure device placement
