Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN requiring recent acute care experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the cath lab or EP lab depending on department needs
- Performs emergency and elective angioplasty and provides therapies such as drug-eluting stents, electrophysiology, and pacemaker implantation
- 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
- Cath lab call required
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required, no pending licenses accepted
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
- BSN highly desired
- Current certifications required: NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS (AHA only)
- Recent acute care experience required
- Minimum two years of prior work experience in a US hospital in the cath lab specialty required
Additional Information
- Performs a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with current licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements
- Fulfills the needs of patients, families, and the community
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted
