Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring critical care experience and IL licensure.
Details
- 14-bed ICU treating adult patients aged 16 and up
- Patient population includes sepsis, shock, DKA, AKI, vascular conditions, and strokes
- Cares for ventilator and tracheostomy patients
- Utilizes Impella devices, IABP, and CRRT (Prismax system)
- Night shift schedule with 10-hour shifts
- May float to PCU or Med/Surg within scope
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- CCRN certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
- Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
- 2 professional references from similar specialty experience (1-2 years) required
Additional Information
- Provides critical care nursing to complex adult ICU patients
- Accepts local candidates at reduced rate
- 50-mile radius rule applies with no exceptions
- RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
