Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for an outpatient clinic setting caring for Head and Neck and GU cancer patients, requiring chemo administration and IV skills.

Details

Outpatient oncology clinic within a Genitourinary & Head and Neck Cancer Center
Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, with shift options between 8:00 AM-6:00 PM, 9:00 AM-7:00 PM, and 10:00 AM-8:00 PM
No weekend shifts required
Floating required, potentially to an affiliate hospital nearby
No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

Active MA RN license required (in-hand, no pending licenses accepted)
BSN required
BLS certification required
ACLS and OCN certifications preferred
Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
Must be able to administer chemotherapy and start IVs
Epic EMR charting experience preferred
Strong IV insertion skills required
One supervisory-level professional reference required

Additional Information

Provide direct oncology nursing care including chemotherapy administration to Head and Neck and GU cancer patients
Support a high-volume cancer treatment center known for its outpatient infusion and MD visit volume
COVID vaccination and booster required with no exemptions
No holiday coverage required
Travel pairs may be considered
Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no mileage radius restriction
All RTO requests must be submitted upfront, as time off cannot be added after submission
