Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring 1 year of experience and AHA BLS/ACLS/NIH certification.

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
Day shift schedule (4x12 hours, 6:30 AM-7:00 PM)
36/36, 36/48, and 48/48 scheduling options available
Rotating weekends and rotating holidays required
No on-call responsibilities
Self-scheduling available

Requirements

Active TN or compact RN license required
AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
Charge nurse experience preferred

Additional Information

Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
Orientation begins on Sundays with online coursework, offering flexible start dates once compliance documents are completed
Contract nursing staff are expected to support nursing student clinical education alongside patient care duties
