Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a fast-paced observation unit requiring at least 1 year of travel experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

  • 24-bed telemetry observation unit functioning as an extension of the Emergency Room
  • Short-stay patient population with focus on hypertensive urgency, stroke work-ups, titratable cardiac drips, acute infections, cardiac work-ups, and ESRD
  • Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
  • 36-48 hour contracts acceptable
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holiday coverage required per unit need

Requirements

  • Active FL or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

  • Deliver compassionate, clinically strong nursing care to a short-stay observation population
  • Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
  • Candidates should begin discussing extension with their manager 45 days before assignment end date
