Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry Unit position requiring 1 year of travel nursing experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

High acuity, fast-paced 35-bed telemetry unit
Cares for acutely ill patients admitted from the ED, ICU, and PCU with a focus on cardiac and pulmonary diagnoses
Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
36-48 hour work week acceptable
Every other weekend required
Holiday coverage required per unit need

Requirements

Active FL or compact RN license required
BLS certification (AHA) required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start required
Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start required

Additional Information

Provide telemetry-level care to acutely ill cardiac and pulmonary patients
Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
Candidates should begin discussing assignment extensions with their manager at least 45 days before the end date
COVID vaccination is not required
