Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry Unit position requiring 1 year of travel nursing experience and a FL or compact RN license.
Details
- High acuity, fast-paced 35-bed telemetry unit
- Cares for acutely ill patients admitted from the ED, ICU, and PCU with a focus on cardiac and pulmonary diagnoses
- Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
- 36-48 hour work week acceptable
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required per unit need
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start required
- Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start required
Additional Information
- Provide telemetry-level care to acutely ill cardiac and pulmonary patients
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
- Candidates should begin discussing assignment extensions with their manager at least 45 days before the end date
- COVID vaccination is not required
