Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 39-bed telemetry unit requiring 2+ years of experience and KS or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Level 1 trauma hospital setting on a 39-bed private room medical/surgical/respiratory telemetry unit
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• MOAB Moderate Risk de-escalation training required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current license and primary source verification via Nursys required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to medical, surgical, and respiratory telemetry patients
• Candidates local to the facility may be considered at a reduced pay rate under a radius rule
• Radius requirements vary by facility location
• Travelers should discuss potential extensions with their manager approximately 45 days before the assignment end date
