Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown/ACU position requiring 2+ years of stepdown experience and Cerner proficiency.
Details
- Work in the Transitional Care Unit (ACU/Stepdown) of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Float to Med/Surg or Telemetry units as needed
- Uses Cerner EMR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (AR or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum 2 years of recent stepdown nursing experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to stepdown/ACU patients with responsibility for floating to MS/Tele units as needed
- Gray scrub color required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
