Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility position requiring 2 years of acute rehab experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
- Rehab nursing unit treating stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury patients
- Patient ratio of 1:7
- Uses IV pumps, EKG machines, bariatric beds, and medication dispensing systems
- EHR systems include Cerner and Epic
- Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- 36 guaranteed weekly hours
- Required to work every other weekend
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of experience required, including acute care experience
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- Experience with stroke, amputation, and major surgery patient populations preferred
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Care for patients in a CARF-accredited Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and Stroke Specialty Program
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and leadership skills valued
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Report time on first day is 6:45 PM with parking available in the main lot
- Permanent residence must be outside a 60-mile radius of the facility
- Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Must not be employed elsewhere full time
