Description
American Traveler is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift position requiring an OH or compact RN license and NRP certification.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital birth center setting
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
- 13-week assignment length
- May be floated to another unit or care site within the health system to maintain contracted hours
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required for all direct patient care personnel
- NRP certification required for RNs in the Birth Center
- License verification must be dated within 30 days of start
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in the Birth Center
- Local candidates accepted at local rates in eligible states
- Radius rule of 60 miles applies for consideration at the travel pay rate

The higher ups wanted me to do an extension (that I was happy to do) at a significant pay decrease. Wouldn't even consider paying me the same as my first contract.
