Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical Step-Down position requiring at least 1 year of intermediate care/step-down experience and an active NJ or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a Medical Step-Down/Intermediate Care unit
- PM shift, 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Float as needed, including to a nearby sister hospital
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active NJ or compact RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- At least 1 year of Intermediate Care/step-down RN experience required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Strong communication and computer skills required

- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
