Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a pediatric hospital setting, requiring at least 1 year of experience and multiple radiologic and cardiac certifications.
Details
- Pediatric cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab setting
- Level 1 trauma teaching hospital
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Weekend availability required with full scheduling flexibility
- On-call required, approximately 1-2 shifts per week and 1-2 weekends per month as needed
- May be required to float within the hospital within scope of practice
- Epic and Sensis charting systems used
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required, pediatric experience preferred
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS certification required
- ARRT R and ARRT Advanced Cert required
- Fluoroscopy permit required if applicable
- Epic experience preferred
- Skills in cardiac cath lab procedures such as diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, TAVR, Watchman, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Experience with EP procedures including cardiac ablation, mapping, cardioversion, and AICD/pacemaker insertion preferred
- Experience in vascular, GU, and neurological procedural support preferred
Additional Information
- Perform procedural responsibilities including accurate monitoring, EKG lead placement, room circulating, and maintaining sterile fields
- Work within a Level 1 trauma, Magnet-recognized, and nationally ranked children's teaching hospital
- Blue scrub color required
- Required to work 2 out of 3 holidays
- Maximum RTO of 6 days must be confirmed upfront
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
- Permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to travel
- Free traveler parking provided
