Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring 3 years of L&D experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Manages patients in labor, attends deliveries, and circulates for C-sections
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18:30-7:00)
• Every other weekend required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or Compact license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Beginner/Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• At least two recent manager references required

Additional Information

• Duties include managing laboring patients, attending deliveries, and circulating for C-sections
• Scrubs provided
• First-time travelers accepted only if candidate has 3 years of permanent RN experience
• Returning employees must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before being eligible to travel
• Local candidates within 75 miles accepted at local rate
