Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an outpatient Cardiac Rehab position requiring WA or compact RN license and EPIC EMR experience.

Details

• Outpatient Cardiac Rehab clinical setting
• No floating to the hospital required
• Day shift schedule with flexible 4x9 or mixed 4x8/4-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week
• No weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities required
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required, including completion of an Epic Test-Out Module
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in cardiac patient care including angina, hypertension, post cardiac surgery, post MI, and post vascular surgery
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and cardiac arrest management preferred
• Experience with diabetic teaching, fall risk assessment, and patient education preferred
• Experience with respiratory care including pulse oximetry and supplemental oxygen delivery preferred

Additional Information

• Provide direct outpatient care to cardiac rehab patients, including monitoring, patient teaching, and assistive device support
• No N95 or PAPR fitting required for this role
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this assignment
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates within 50 miles of any Legacy facility are not accepted
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
