Description

American Traveler is hiring a PCU Float RN for a night shift assignment requiring floating between facilities and prior step-down or telemetry experience.

Details

  • Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step-down float position in a short-term acute care hospital
  • Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:30
  • Uses Epic EMR system
  • Required to float between all facilities within the state

Requirements

  • Active WA or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Cardiac step-down and charge nurse experience preferred but not required

Additional Information

  • Provide progressive/step-down level nursing care with floating responsibilities across multiple facilities
  • Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
  • Minimal to no time off requested during the assignment
