Description
American Traveler is hiring a PCU Float RN for a night shift assignment requiring floating between facilities and prior step-down or telemetry experience.
Details
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step-down float position in a short-term acute care hospital
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:30
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Required to float between all facilities within the state
Requirements
- Active WA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Cardiac step-down and charge nurse experience preferred but not required
Additional Information
- Provide progressive/step-down level nursing care with floating responsibilities across multiple facilities
- Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal to no time off requested during the assignment
