Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring CT RN licensure and at least 3 years of cardiac cath/EP lab experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab, Neuro-Interventional Lab, and Structural Heart program
- 3x12 hour shifts, Monday-Friday, with variable start times of 6am, 7am, or 8am
- Weekend and holiday on-call required based on department needs, such as one weekday night (5pm-7am) and every fourth weekend (Fri 5pm-Mon 7am)
- Involves high-acuity, invasive cardiovascular and neurovascular procedures
- Circulates in Cath, EP, and Neuro cases
Requirements
- Active CT RN license (Standard or Compact)
- Minimum 3 years of cardiac cath/EP lab experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
- Previous Cath Lab, Neuro-Interventional, or Structural Heart RN experience required
- Strong procedural, sedation, and hemodynamic monitoring skills
- Proficient in circulating in Cath, EP, and Neuro cases
- Two professional references from a manager or above, rated standard or above average, from within the past year in current discipline/specialty
Additional Information
- Provide advanced procedural care for high-acuity cardiovascular and neurovascular cases
- Function effectively within an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- CCRN, CI, or CV RCIS certifications preferred
- Neuro experience with mechanical thrombectomy, coiling, pipeline, or embolization procedures preferred
- Proficiency in monitoring and scrubbing for Cath, EP, and Neuro cases preferred
- Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate
- Uses Kronos for timekeeping
