Description
American Traveler is hiring a Charge Nurse RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing night shift position requiring 3 years of nursing experience and an active Maine or compact RN license.
Details
- Skilled nursing/long-term care facility setting
- Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
- 13-week assignment
- Coordinates and directs total nursing care for an assigned group of residents/patients
- Provides administrative backup support to the Director in their absence
Requirements
- Active Maine or Compact RN license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
- Associate's Degree (2-year college) in Nursing required
Additional Information
- Serves as quality management coordinator and resource for the unit
- Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident/patient care
- Participates in patient/resident and family teaching
- Works cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other care team members according to facility policies and standards
- Reports directly to the Director of Nursing or designee
- Maintains resident/patient privacy and confidentiality
