Description
American Traveler is hiring a remote RN for a Utilization Review position requiring CCM/CMCN certification and Epic/Dragonfly experience.
Details
- Remote Utilization Management position working with providers, not just payers
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with every fifth weekend rotation
- EMR used is Epic; UM tool used is Dragonfly
- Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float and possibly to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the main facility
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- CCM or CMCN certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in utilization management required
- Experience working with providers (not solely payers) required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Dragonfly UM tool experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Must be computer literate with experience working remotely
- Degree accreditation verification required, or 5 years of experience in lieu of verification
- Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
Additional Information
- Perform utilization review and case management duties remotely
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict verification of residency and property ownership
- Candidates must be prepared to secure full-time housing in the area if commuting from outside the region
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application and will not be approved after submission
- Orientation begins on a Friday; candidates must be in the area in person for badge and ID setup
- Hiring process includes a prescreen interview followed by a final interview with the manager
- Travelers are expected to integrate fully into the team and function as core staff
- Strict document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documentation
