Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health assignment supporting the Morris County region, requiring an active NJ PT license.

Details

Home health setting supporting the Morris County region
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4 PM, no weekends required
40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
No on-call requirements
May be required to float within the Morris County region
Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

Active NJ license to practice Physical Therapy required if applicable
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program
0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist strongly preferred
Home health experience preferred
Epic charting experience preferred
Acute care experience in a large academic medical setting preferred

Additional Information

Responsibilities include patient evaluation, developing plans of care, providing interventions, patient and family education, documentation, and billing
Supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and may serve as a clinical instructor for students
Exercises independent judgment on moderately complex cases with minimal to no supervision
Local candidates accepted
Open to first-time travelers
