Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse - Oncology for a Radiation Oncology setting requiring recent oncology experience and chemotherapy administration certification.
Details
- Radiation Oncology outpatient setting
- 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week
- Schedule Monday-Friday 7am-5pm, varies
- 40 guaranteed hours weekly
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
- Chemotherapy certification required
- Must be able to administer chemotherapy
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in oncology specialty required
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
- Returning staff who previously worked permanently at this facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
